Physical activity has a huge potential to enhance our well being. Even a short burst of 10 minutes’ brisk walking increases our mental alertness, energy and positive mood. You should aim to engage in physical activity for at least 60 minutes a day. Below are some ideas to try, but we are sure you have some brilliant ideas too.
You could:
- take part in a circuit activity (see resources below)
- go on a bike ride
- skip
- go for a run
- create an obstacle course
- go on the trampoline
- play a sport
- briskly walk the dog
- martial arts
