Year 1 loved reading ‘Don’t put mustard in the custard’ by Michael Rosen, they laughed a lot. They enjoyed exploring rhyming pairs through mixing food and objects. Then creating our own version ‘Don’t put a lock in the sock’ by creating funny rhyming pairs. Our new poem is fantastic!
