KS2 ‘un-validated’ SATs Results July 2016
The following table reports the % of Year 6 pupils that attained Age Related Expectations (ARE) in the 2016 National Tests or attained ‘above’ Age Related Expectations (High Attainers), as well as the school’s average scaled score and the school’s progress measures from KS1 – KS2.
In 2016, the DFE changed the way it assessed pupils from the previous system of ‘Levels’ to a ‘scaled score test’ that demonstrates whether the pupil met or did not meet Age Related Expectations (ARE); pupils had to achieve a scaled score of 100 to meet ARE.
Number of pupils tested = 48 pupils. Number of pupils eligible for progress measures:- 45 pupils for Maths; 44 pupils for Reading and Writing.*N.B. as there is no National Writing Assessment Test, the writing is Teacher Assessment only
