Anti-Bullying Week
‘One Kind Word’
Our Safety Cadets look at all aspects of keeping our children safe from harm.
They have shared, with their classes, the importance of being kind and what to do if you think you or someone you know is being bullied.

Safer Internet Day
The theme was ‘All fun and games? Exploring respect and relationships online’. The Safety Cadets enjoyed filming a virtual assembly to share this important message. The children were then given the opportunity to explore this further in class.

Meet your new Safety Cadets
After a very successful application process, we are pleased to announce, we have picked our new Safety Cadets.
If you have any worries or concerns, please speak to one of our Cadets and we will discuss your concerns in our meetings and find a way to help you.
Safety Cadets
Over the past few years E-Safety Cadets have progressed naturally into the Safety Cadets. The Cadets meet every Monday after school to discuss and tackle current issues that affect us as at school or issues that are appearing in the news that affect children, therefore moving away from internet safety to safeguarding children holistically. We have a great time together and have proven to be very successful as a team and are learning lots of new information which we are continuously passing onto our peers and even staff.
Recruitment for the new SMITH Safety Cadets has begun. We put out a poster to the school to make sure our newest Safety Cadets are super safety conscious.
